... is a serious issue and should NOT be taken lightly. The EYSC wants to make sure that we provide the latest information on Concussion injury to help make playing Soocer, or any sport, as safe for all participating players as possible. Below you will find resources on how to determine a possible concussion injury & also how to prevent concussion injuries.

The EYSC HIGHLY RECOMMENDS that you, as coaches, parents & players take the time to review this information and take advantage of the FREE training tools to help protect your players and help make playing sports as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Useful information for parents and coaches

The links below provide a wealth of information and resources for parents, coaches, and administrators with respect to recognizing and taking the appropriate steps to treat concussions in young athletes. Err on the side of caution when you suspect a player may have suffered a concussion at training or at a game, and make sure that the player is evaluated by a medical professional who is familiar with the treatment of concussions.
