Calendar and Next Board Meeting

EPYSA Risk Management Signup 2010/2011

Fall 2010 Season

Registrations have been received and teams are being formed. Coaches will receive their rosters at the meeting at the end of August. Players will be contacted at that time. Practices for most teams will begin the last week of August. The Under 6 program will start up in early September.

If you haven't already submitted your registration, please do so as soon as possible. We are limited as to how many players we can place on certain teams. There are still some spots available in a few age groups. Please don't procrastinate.

Coaching Sundays

Coaching Sundays start Sunday June 20^th at 6:00 PM. These will be held at the Middle School field nearest the road. All current and past coaches along with any interested parents are welcome to attend. We will hold a brief practice session that will run for 25 to 30 minutes. These will be sessions that you can use with your current or future team. After the session is complete we will play an open game of pick up soccer for 45 minutes to an hour. This is a great opportunity for current coaches to pick up on practice plans that can be used in the upcoming season. This is also a great opportunity for parents that were thinking about coaching in the future but didn’t know how or where to start. These sessions will be designed for all ages. Please check the web-site regularly. Please dress appropriately to participate and play. Cleats and shin guards are not required just a willingness to learn to better appreciate the game. We look forward to seeing you there.

Referee of the Year

We would like to congratulate Brandon Smith from the Ephrata Youth Soccer Club and LANCO Chapter of Referees who has been selected Eastern Pennsylvania's Male Referee of the Year.
Brandon's dedication to the game and to himself on working hard to be the best he can has paid off in the form of recommendation by peers, nomination by the local chapter and selection by the committee!
Hats off to a fine young man!

Two Cousins Tuesdays

Every Tuesday is Ephrata Youth Soccer Day at Two Cousins Pizza on Rt. 322 across from the Sharp Shopper Plaza.
When you eat at Two Cousins or order take out or order from the drive thru 15% of your food order is returned to support the Ephrata Youth Soccer Club.

Shoe Exchange Program:

Starting immediately, EYSC will be offering a "Shoe Exchange" program. Because younger kids grow so quickly between seasons we are offering a way for parents to turn in their unneeded cleats at the end of the season and have one available at the beginning of the next. Depending on how this goes, we will consider doing something similar with shin guards.
